I hate VagueBooking and cryptic posts.
Having said that, I’m in the middle of correcting 9 essays on Macbeth and a stack of homework on John Milton, so I don’t have time to give the complete story. But something has been changing, slowly at first, but picking up speed, and today I came to a turning point and needed a place to acknowledge it.
So let this be the day that goes down in history as the day my husband lost me.
The day that I finally came to terms with his narcissism, his controlling behavior and his immaturity and said, “You know what? I’m on to you. Your accusations fall on unbelieving ears and I can now see your manipulations coming a mile off. You have been reduced to a roaring lion with no actual teeth.”
The relief and elation that comes with this are incredible.
And that’s about all I have time to say.
